A limited number of dialysis providers routinely offered home hemodialysis a short time ago. Today, well over 350 centers are offering NxStage home daily hemodialysis therapy across the country and availability is spreading.



The vast majority of US patients are within one hour of a training center with NxStage. Nearly 80% of the continental U.S. dialysis population is within 30 miles of a NxStage training center, and over 90% of the population is within 60 miles.



Because of the number of centers that now exist that provide NxStage home training, nearly three-fourths of NxStage home HD patients reside within 30 miles of their NxStage training center. However, NxStage patients have traveled hundreds of miles to be trained to perform home daily dialysis.
