Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Summary

Support the Research and Development activities related to NxStage's embedded electro-mechanical devices.

Specific Duties:

  • Work on new and existing circuit card design for NxStage products.
  • Work closely with software engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
  • Create requirements and specification documents to allow vendors to develop and produce devices for NxStage.
  • Participate in FMEA activities to ensure process shortcomings are identified and appropriately addressed.
  • Support junior members of team to develop engineering skills.
  • Assist in debugging existing designs and developing reliability improvements to existing design.
  • Support document effort to meet "Design Control."
  • Work with vendors to ensure that NxStage products are manufactured to specifications.
  • Work with Quality Assurance and Research and Development to maintain an approved internal Quality System that meets the requirements of GMP's, QSR and ISO 9001.
  • Develop and support automated and semi-automated assembly and test equipment.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Ten years in electrical engineering.
  • Embedded systems development.
  • Experience with CPLD's is preferred.
  • Analog experience a plus.
  • Able to run major circuit card development projects from concept to manufacturing.
  • Reliability design experience a plus.
