For many clinics clotting represents both clinical and operational consequences that affect patients and staff; reducing the adequacy of treatments and increasing the overall costs and complications of hemodialysis.1
Streamline®, Streamline Long, and Streamline Express are all designed to eliminate blood-air interface which may reduce the risk of clotting.1,2 The arterial and venous pressure-transmitting PODs in our suite of Streamline products replace conventional bloodline drip chambers where blood and air interface. In addition, Streamline Express is designed to conserve saline and most users require only 1 bag per treatment.3

Conventional blood tubing often takes more time for staff to set-up compared to Streamline Express, which takes time away from patient care.
Streamline Express is uniquely designed to reduce labor for machine set-ups. In a pilot testing series Streamline Express saw an improvement of 44%, an estimated 73 seconds.
