Roger A. Rodby. MD, FACP, FASN, received his Medical Degree in 1982 from the University of Illinois. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at UMDNJ Rutgers from 1982-85 where he served as Chief Resident. His Fellowship training in Nephrology was at Rush University Medical Center from 1985-87 following which he joined the Rush faculty where he has remained for 30-years. He became Director for In-Patient Renal Replacement Therapies in 1990, the Fellowship Training Program Director in 2000, and a Full Professor in 2009. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology’s (ASN) Media and Communications Committee as well as a member of the American Journal of Kidney Diseases Social Media Advisory Group. He is a Community Leader for the ASN’s Patient Q&A on-line “Community”. He was appointed to be the Co-Director of the ASN’s Board Review Course in 2017. He has been a member of the NxStage Scientific Advisory Board since 2005.

Dr. Rodby is an Assistant Editor for Seminars in Dialysis where he also has his own section entitled “Dialysis Rounds”. He has authored over 100 articles across a wide spectrum of nephrology topics. Dr. Rodby’s clinical interests in the NxStage Acute Dialysis realm have been focused on different methods of providing continuous renal replacement therapy.
