Streamline® Express

Streamline Express is a high performance dialyzer with pre-attached blood tubing set.

Streamline Express is designed to:

  • Streamline Express automatically fills the dialysate compartment with saline
    • Saline passes through pores from the inside to the outside of the fibers
    • Air escapes through a vented Hansen cap

Priming/waste buckets not required

Eliminates need to:

  • Open venous line dialyzer connectors
  • Remove venous dialyzer port cap
  • Connect tubing to dialyzer
  • Open arterial line dialyzer connectors
  • Remove arterial dialyzer port cap
  • Connect tubing to dialyzer

Users have experienced many treatments require only 1 bag of saline1

PET spacers are woven into the fiber bundle to

  • Improve dialysate distribution
  • Maintain consistent performance
  • Increase clearance values

Low protein adsorption (reduced clogging of the pores)

  • Protein adsorption to the membrane and pores is reduced so that middle molecular toxins can move more easily through the pores2

Higher blood flow rates

  • Bloodline is designed to lower bloodline arterial pressures, which may enable higher blood flow rates in comparison to conventional bloodline
Arterial_Pod
  • Arterial and venous pressure PODs replace conventional tubing drip chambers where blood and air interface
  • Changing contaminated transducer protectors is time consuming and costly
  • POD isolates the patient's blood from the hemodialysis machine
